The Election Commission on Tuesday reported repolling in 48 surveying stations falling in Majitha, Muktsar and Sangrur get together fragments in Punjab. It will be hung on February 9, Thursday. At many surveying stations, the VVPATs and EVMs had purportedly built up a tangle.
The repolling will be held at 16 surveying stations for the Amritsar Lok Sabha situate.
To the extent Assembly seats are concerned, it will be held at 12 surveying stations in Majitha, one in Moga, nine in Muktsar, four in Sardulgarh and six surveying stations in Sangrur.
The repolling will be held from 8 am to 5 pm.
The EC arrange said the repolling would maintain the respectability of the constituent procedure.
The Election Commission said that at a few spots surveying was hindered as VVPAT machines and EVMs had failed. Of 24,697 Ballot Units and 24,256 Control Units utilized as a part of Punjab 180 BUs and 184 CUs fizzled amid the survey, the EC included.
