BHOPAL: Smartphone will now empower tuberculosis patients to enroll in the overhauled national tuberculosis control program (RNTCP), the state-run tuberculosis (TB) control activity supported by the Union government.
It would dispense with the requirement for printed material and patients would require not visit a TB place for enrolment. A pilot extend done in different areas is relied upon to be taken off through NIKSHAY, a web-empowered application, which encourages checking of widespread access to TB patients.
The new advanced mobile phone application rollout is probably going to be trailed by another recommendation that would empower for 100% treatment of TB patients over the state.
Private experts who treat and recognize TB patients would be paid meeting expense through the program.
